My wife and I moved to Fittleworth in 1992, after working and travelling in South East Asia and Australia for 5 years (see photo!). Our 2 sons were born here and went to the play group, village school and Midhurst Rother College. I was a governor of the village school for 9 years, 7 as Chair of the school.

I have worked in the charity and local authority sector for 35 years, mainly for conservation and assistance dog charities as well as for the South Downs AONB.

I was delighted to become a parish councillor in January 2024 and to become Chair of the Hesworth Common Management Committee in March 2024.
